Made by Native Italian Teachers
The same passionate, certified native teachers behind our live courses designed these lessons, so you learn real, natural Italian from day one.
Ciao a tutti! 🇮🇹 I’m Francesco, the founder of Italmente, the only fully online Italian school.
With hundreds of students from all over the world, we specialize in helping people learn Italian and, most importantly, gain the confidence to use it.
That’s why I created Italmente Foundations: a complete self-paced Italian course designed specifically for beginners. It will take you step by step through the essential grammar, vocabulary and communication skills of CEFR level A1, giving you a solid foundation for your Italian journey.
The course includes 12 clear, comprehensive lessons, taught by me. Each lesson builds naturally on the previous one, so you can progress gradually without feeling overwhelmed.
And Foundations is much more than just video lessons. You’ll also get hundreds of interactive quizzes, complete with answers and explanations, plus grammar and vocabulary sheets to help you review, practice and remember what you’ve learned.
All video lessons are taught in Italian, with subtitles available in English, Spanish and French, so you can immerse yourself in the language from the very beginning while still having the support you need.
By the end of Foundations, you’ll have the skills you need to handle everyday situations in Italian, have simple conversations, and communicate with greater confidence on your next trip to Italy.
Learn at your own pace, build a strong foundation, and start actually using Italian.
Enjoy the course, and a presto! 🇮🇹
